Desirée is a Brooklyn based filmmaker. She’s loved filmmaking ever since her parents introduced her to the camcorder at a young age. Her work explores the cyclical banality of the human condition through fictional and non-fictional lenses. Her body of work is a collection of intimate experiences portrayed through slow cinema, distant memories, and wandering narratives. The result being, an honest portrayal of the struggles within the fleeting present moments of the everyday. Her work has screened at festivals such as Brooklyn Film Festival, Tacoma Film Festival, Sydney Women's International Film Festival, Fisura Film Festival, Defy Film Festival, Mystic Film Festival, and Still Voices Film Festival.

She has held positions such as Development & Production Coordinator at Honor Society Films, Co-Founder, Director of Development & Operations Manager at Ithaca Experimental Film Festival, Technical Manager at Park Portable Equipment Center, Executive Director at Park Productions, and finalist in the Coca-Cola Refreshing Films competition where she produced her first commercial.

She’s worked with brands including L’oreal, Degree, Nexxus, Gillette, Lancôme, Dyson, McDonalds, Bullish, and more. Her involvement in these projects include coordinating and producing. In addition, she enjoys making and being a part of short and feature length films. From professional commercial work to high profile documentaries, she has worked with many different film mediums.
